Unwell Baby Pigeon

So some of you may remember the baby pigeon I posted photo's of, its now just a bit smaller than the dad. Anyway the other day another pigeon attacked it and it now has a bald head and it looks quite bad. its was starting to look better but now it has stopped walking and uses it wings to move about, even though it was walking about yesterday. Im not sure whats wrong with it or how im meant to be trying to help it.

I'm sorry, but it sounds as if it has received severe injuries from which it is unlikely to recover. In circumstances like this I think it's best to put the bird out of its misery. You need to put the bird down.

hi mate any youngster that doesnt really look good should be taken away.its all down to stress and how stress effects the youngsters.unfortunately you are probably only prolonging its misery.its also very easy for others to say kull it but if you have an emotional attachment to it then put it somewhere away from all the other birds because it wont be able to compete for food,water or even a perch space.
