Walter swanston Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 There is an interesting article in the Scotland on Sunday newspaper today about one Dave Dick from Moffat, I do not know this guy who has quit his job as the RSPB`s head invesigator after 25 years claiming that he gets no support from landowners and the police in his efforts to save raptors. He says that investigations and prosecutions are being frustrated because the police are too close to gamekeepers.Well this is news to me and there is certainly no shortage of peregrine falcons and sparrow hawks around Moffat. He goes on to say that the new law regarding vicarious responsibility has not yet been tested in the Scottish Courts.
