Children should not be able to just 'disappear' in this day and age and my heart goes out to all families who have gone through this type of situation, unfortunately it is more common than we think.

although i do feel for the children that go missing and hoped that madeline would have been found by now,theres this feeling still in the back of my mind that keeps me feeling a little annoyed at the parents for leaving that poor girl alone that day/night however a short time it may have been.

we all hope that madeline can be found safe and well and it will be very soon.

but time is against it and i dont think the locals at the time were too helpful.

I totally understand your sentiments and I imagine it is something they must punish themselves with every day in life.

I too will never understand why they left their children alone
