Guest geordiejen Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 hi all does anyone use horse wormer paste to treat there birds?ive been told of stuff called eqvalan contains ivermectin and praziquantel whatever that is.was told it was hard to get as you need some information on the horse thats to be wormed lol.

victorious Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 hi all does anyone use horse wormer paste to treat there birds?ive been told of stuff called eqvalan contains ivermectin and praziquantel whatever that is.was told it was hard to get as you need some information on the horse thats to be wormed lol.tryed it long ago i found it very hard to dilute i bought it freely at a animal feed suppliers but now i just use ivormectin i swear by it for mites anyway i proved it works but i got the strong stuff of my local vet not the weaker one made for pigeons its like water the one i got is far thicker and a quarter of the price and my vet told me it worms them as well i actually keep asking her that and she assures me it does worm them horse paste is probabley to costly its so long ago i bought it i 4 get the cost.

rolldowns Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 try equest it comes in a syringe and costs about 10 12 pounds 20 mill of paste mixed with 3 litres of water marvelous stuff ive used ivomec and liquid levamisole but this works better no vomitting and no lice treat once lasts for 3 months
