Droppings Tester

hi all ive just recieved a droppings tester.2 tubes one whicj has a spoon for poops the other is a cotton bud.is this also for poops or is it for saliva?also should i take a wee bit from different birds or should i just take from one.the reason im using it is to find out if the birds have any high levels before treating for canker,cocci or worms.

ones a swab others a dropping pot , get an old clean jug and take samples from each perch / box then mix into a paste then fill up to line , throat swab needs two people one to open beak and hold bird whilst other puts swab down and rubs up and down whilst turning it then put into tube the soup will preserve it
