Guest geordiejen Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 may have made myself more cleared the hen has been bred but she hasnt been bred since may.cant rule out she hasnt laid since then.at her age its pigeon heaven i think.will leave her till tomorrow and if she looks in any pain i will put her away.
Guest Doade Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 At 15 years she has had a good life
Guest IB Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Impossible to tell what is wrong with the pigeon, blood you could associate with the gut wall damaged by cocci or hairworm. Then again, reddish colour could be down to colouring from something the bird ate like hormoform.
Guest Tooshy Boy Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 LEAVE THE BIRD ALONE .YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF IT LASTING THAT LONG IT SHOWS YOU MUST BE LOOKING AFTER THEM ALLRIGHT.///
Guest geordiejen Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 i put her in a pen last night with food and water, she hasnt touched any of them she hasnt pooped either looking a bit worse for ware i dont think she is going to recover from this i will put it down to old age.i will give her a good send off.i wonder if the priest will come round and give her her last rights?
