I share your concern. I don't see that net being approved for this kind of use , it terrifies the birds and I would expect it will cause injuries (and therefore suffering) through the sheer numbers caught in it and the panic it caused amonst them. I'd also like to know what method will be used to dispose of the birds caught. Can't see them being too concerned about how they do that. It's a job for RSPCA I think.
