Found Bird

We have found bird NWHU X3467.

 

It has a damaged wing but otherwise seems OK.

 

We have put it in a bottomless cage on the lawn with some water and wild bird fat ball.

 

Unfortunately we get marauding badgers during the night so they may tip the cage over to get at the bird. We also have a cat but the cat can't get into the cage.

 

How do I identify the owner?

your ring number is incomplete and missing the year please re-read the ring number , the wing of the bird may be stamped with a phone number thanks for trying to help this bird , fat balls may not be ideal feed for the bird some dried peas or rice would be better
