Guest Brian P Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 A very tame racing pigeon has just dropped into our garden near Glastonbury. It has 3 rings on its legs. One reads GB 07 B79651 the other 2 are yellow rings and are numbered 2240 and 2336. As the bird is not in distress I am feeding and watering it but not trying to catch it. If anyone recognises the number do get back to me.
Guest joe Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 The ring was issued to Birkdale South End F.C. The secretary at that time was Mr J Oldham, tel:- 01704 562092. He may or may not still be secretary but worth a try. Hope this helps.
