was glad the Scottish national, did not convoy the lanarkshire fed birds, from there first inland race. for 2 reasons the first being it would have spoilt it for Geordie Mann, with the national men saying he would have had more of a drag, the second reason was fanciers having to send to keep in the averages, a lessen to be learned by the national, with these inland races it forces

fliers in to a race, that can have a bad effect on you and there, blue re-band race. the one race you would like to see a big turn out, this year as like the last years one, again have a few birds not fit to take there chance. with the birdage pulled down, and the entrant, mentally scared from there previous time out. it would be better to leave the inland races to clubs,

as all the eggs will not be in one basket

but with different club ,making it

a better chance for the higher birdage for the national

i think next year will have a different out look for the national think they should look out for the wealth fare of the birds as agenst the money made as profit

taking the lanarkshire with them might make money but it will put the national out the game, as it will be noted and said, you are creating a false race with the drag going in more favor to the west, when the said race ain't long enough to split the convoy
