Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 What is your opinion on comeback races whether before a chanel race or in our case it is now a comeback race in between the next 3 chanel races and I know they can be short but ours are 130 miles,I know this week we will not be going to it because we sent all our birds to France at the weekend and they certainly do not need a comeback race but in general do you think they serve any purpose ?
OLDYELLOW Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 yes they serve a purpose for jumping candidates in to selected races sometimes there not well thought out , we have a Billerclay next week then Reed then the big one at Bourge , shame it weren't Reed then Billericlay as some have fresh birds to put in which would be more birdage for convoyer which in turn would make more birdage for following race
