In celebration of Her Majesty the Queen's 2012 Diamond Jubilee the RPRA are running a 'Design a Logo' competition. The competition is open to 3 age groups ( Under 11's , 11 to 16's and 17 and over ) and as well as some fantastic prizes the winning designs will appear on all official RPRA stationery throughout the year in celebration. Could be a great idea to print this out and send to schools to get younger children involved :)

Closing date for entries is October 2011

Do you have a background in journalism?

Are you a PR professional looking to put something back into the sport?

The RPRA is looking for a voluntary Press Officer to promote the sport and the Association. The Press Officer will work closely with Council, Regions, RPRA and BHW staff to tease out “good news†stories and other newsworthy items for distribution to the media. The Press Officer will build a database of media contacts and liaise with the media to promote pigeon racing and the Association.

This is an entirely voluntary appointment and an opportunity to play your part in the development of the Association. No remuneration will be paid but reasonable expenses may be claimed.

Applications in writing to the General Manager at The Reddings who would be delighted to discuss the appointment further with potential candidates.
