Nest Boxes

Hi all ive got some chipboard what they use for flooring and im going to use it for the sides of my widowhood nest boxes my question is would this be ok for the base of the boxes or would i be better of with ply ? Thanks for any replies

chipboard makes good boxes thats all i use 3/4 chipboard i dont even cut it i take my measurements down to wood yard and let them do it then all i do is assemble ;)

yes chipboards good and you already have it so saving £££s
