hi all i found a hen on the floor last night with some of her insides hanging out her back end after laying both eggs.i bathed her in warm water with some salt in it and with a rubber glove i put it all back inside.immediately after doing this she pushed it all back out.done the same this morning with the same thing happening.has anyone ever had any success sorting this out?with sadness she is in pigeon heaven this morning. :cry-blow:

Only had this happen once before a hen laid an egg whilst flying , needless to say had to dispose of it as insides had come out with egg , i think they become barren afterwards , but i guess from the mess at the back end they'd probably die from infection

yes mate best thing to do i think, she seemed to be in pain so putting her away is the best thing to do.pointless having birds that cant breed.they just become seed eaters.
