Webmaster Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 I'm happy to announce that the second payout from the Pigeonbasics Fund has been made. Bob Collin from Hartlepool tragically was informed on 3rd June 2007 that his 40ft pigeon lofts had been set alight. Bob lost the loft and the 115 birds housed, which had been racing from accross the channel only 2 weeks prior. Further information was given in the local paper, Hartlepool Mail article. Recently Bob sent me a card which read in part; "Just wanted you to know how much I want to thank you and to let you know that with your help I will be flying pigeons again next year." On behalf of the committee I wish Bob all the best in the comming months rebuilding his team, and every success for next year. Richard
