Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 think it is wrong that people who are not even members on the site are using it to have their birds sold on it .
DOVEScot Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 think it is wrong that people who are not even members on the site are using it to have their birds sold on it . Maybe the member is donating 10% to the site on his behalf :-/
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Maybe the member is donating 10% to the site on his behalf :-/ does not say that anywhere, but i still think it is wrong for somebody who plays no part in the site at all is using it to benefit himself by having his birds sold on it by others, just my personal opinion.
homebird Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 tammy may be right...but what a well put together advert informative, great photos, upfront performance of the loft.not the cheapest i grant you .looks like hes the type that should become a member may have plenty to offer the site.

Maybe we should suggest to richard a standard fee of 10% right across the board paid up front of the advertised price, when you book slot in the classifieds you pay up front whether the item sells or not :-/

DOVEScot Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 I HAVE JUST BEEN TOLD BY THIS FANICER THAT ALL HIS RACE TEAM YOUNGTERS HAVE BEEN SOLD SO IF YOU ARE INTRESTED I WOULD GET YOUR ORDERS IN FAST AS THESE STOCK PIGEONS ARE PRODUCING TOP PIGEONS... I am sure richard would appreciate all our suggestions :-/
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 From Selling Guidelines:- If you have made a successful sale using Pigeonbasics.com, please consider donating a voluntary contribution to website funds using the button below. Payments can be via credit/debit card or Paypal account. All payments are processed by Paypal and are entirely secure as their systems. http://www.pigeonbasics.com/donate.php yes this is all very well, but the point i am making is that folk who are not using the site for any other purpose but to come on and make money after contributing nothing to the site, does this then not allow anybody anywhere to just get somebody who is a member to sell anything at all for personal gain ? if that is the case anybody anywhere could end up just using a pigeon site as a sales site for personal gain ?
Guest Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 maybe this fancier doesn't have internet access? This is going slightly off topic now. I will move the sugestions to 'website news and views' under the heading 'Selling Ideas'
retired Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 I quite agree with you Tammy but can see Geraints point too. I am always happy to donate a percentage to the site. A member on here mentioned to me a site where you pay a annual fee to be a seller then you can list anything you want for the 12 month period for free i am sure the fee was about £25.00 per annum maybe the webmaster could do this or something similar

What about the ones that only post selling birds? I these are the ones that should be levied the most :-/
