jimmy white Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 i also have been having bother with my computer, [im no expert atall on these ] but i made a deal with tiscali, involving stepping up the mps ? supposed to be faster it now keeps cutting off the internet intermitently, when it cuts off , i pull the usb? lead out the modem [black box marked "sagem"?] then after a bit plug it back in and it goes ok for sometime? would i be better buying a new lead and a more modern modem?

Guest strapper Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 now it just say i have no sound devices so am guna try some speakers even though it has speakers built in might work hi jon, what windows system is ur pc running? me/ xp? you should have as stated before a system recovery/restore if running these. this will restore ur pc to an earlier time before the speakers stopped working. this will be in system tools on ur pc...scroll down the subjects in there and it should be there. if it started happening say on the 20th..then ur pc would have made a recovery point b4 that date. choose that and let things happen...dont not interfere with the pc while this happening. it will automatically turn it self off then back on..hopefully then it should be back to normal. hope this helps..paul
jonjon Posted November 22, 2008 Author Report Posted November 22, 2008 its running widows xp will try that thanks
