moderation how much and when

I assume you're being serious or was this sent in jest, if not which new member has told you this and have you asked her/him who sent them the pm?

 

Naw I am being serious, they have based their initial opinion on me on that basis and chosen not to tell me their source but I don't really care just highlighting how much goes on in the PM world on the site, some may or may not like my postings but I would never say in a PM what I couldn't say on the forum or to their face unlike a few on this site it seems :-/

I am surprised at this Dunc, but yet, not shocked. I can understand people not wanting to create bother and telling where the tittle tattle came from, but for them to have made their minds up on the tittle tattle without trying to get to know you, well it just sums up their sheep like mentality. People should be strong enough to make up their own minds. I wouldn't let it worry you Duncan, you are known as a straight talker, as honest as the day is long in my opinion. so stuff them. You've nowt to prove. I know Albear aswell, a good straight trustworthy bloke he is too, you two are some of the few whose opinions i personally value on here. For what its worth, nobody has pm'd me about you, not that if they did they could corrupt my mind against you in anyway! Besides, i already know that you are a loon! lol! Switch off to them mate.

Cheers DD I don't worry about these backstabbers but who else do they do it to and who takes their comments as facts before judging for themselves, sad really that they chose to behave in this manner :-/

Any forum or any other part of life is the same and if you live in the real world you have all met them :-/

i dont know where this information is coming from maybe deep seated paranoia , but i assure you there is no mention of any members problems regarding DoveScot , if members are indeed been warned about Dovescot then its without my knowledge , as for moderators deleing post they simply dont like , you have the right to complain to Richard , as i have said in a previous post use your back button to copy deleted posts then if this is indeed the case then something will be done.

I am sorry the way Ben's auction went for the sake of Ben, but it has highlighted some other problems that need addressed on the site

 

I have asked the Webmaster if he would allow a post on website news and views with the following conditions

 

No moderation

No foul language

No racist or bigoted comments

The members will self police the posts and not allow any of the above by condemning them

No posts unless they can be founded as the truth

 

The webmaster is frightened that it will just turn into a slagging match which hopefully would not be the case :-/
