Guest Tooshy Boy Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 LEAVE THE OIL ON THE FEED OVERNIGHT .TO LET IT DRY INTO IT .///
OLDYELLOW Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 and add either pink minerals / brewers yeast to it so dry when feeding

Guest IB Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 I've tried a few oils for mixing grain with their probiotic. They will stain, how much depends on whether it is a thin (light) oil and how much you use. I think if you measure the oil into the bowl first, then add half the food, mix that, then add the other half and mix that until the feed doesn't stick to the spoon, that's about as 'dry' as you'll get and even if fed to the birds right away it will cause some staining to the beak & head, but will be gone naturally over a day or so.
