i have to post this topic ipurchased the 4y/bs gary donated to this worthy cause i rang him early 2009 and he said down on eggs and would be in touch no callfrom him i rang endfeb/early march he said would ring in aweek no call eventually he rang to say y/bs ready i told him to late to race and he agreed and would honour purchase in2010 with early y/bs i rang him in dec 2009 to remind him and said he would be in touch end feb /early march said my 2y/bs ready i told him he put up 4 and not 2 he said he got mixed up and would give the2 ready to another person fron another sale he had donated he told me stock birds sitting and would be in touch the ones he put in sale were sppuse to be from s/loft inot been able to get in touch with him and senta letter but no reply i dont think this is a very good advert for him as i paid very good money for his donation i feel cheated can anyone help

Regarding the first post, this auction was not run by the site and was a good while ago,since then charity auctions are now run by the site Administered by Ian McKay with a charity auction bank account, and cheqs paid out signed by 2 members, so a lot more secure now, the second one regarding the pen sale was not run on the site, but I believe was a club affair elsewhere,
