Guest Owen Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Ditto, I agree with Paul. I am not a great fan of Baytril for two reasons. First of all when it is fresh from a sealed container it is very strong and can do a heck of a lot of damage to the birds. To me, the only time it is of real value to a Pigeon Fancier is in the case of Paratyphoid and it is used fresh. If you use it from a a container that has been opened and the air has got to it, it will have deteriated and can be no better than water. You will be far better off using Amoxycillin because, providing you have stored it sensibly, it will be much more stable and therefore more reliable.
Daisymay Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Baytril not for this ,as stated before Amoxycillin or similar,if you have kids and any penicillian about use a SMALL dose of that.It will work have done it myself.
