Guest Freebird Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hi Graeme, how are you doing mate. Is that a Perleta Catalonian in there with the breast frill? Since coresponding with you when I was looking for Catalonians I have seen your name crop up many times on pigeon websites and it is not surprising given the knowledge you have on all things pigeons not to mention your talent at capturing their beauty with your art work. If I ever had a Champion pigeon as I'm sure some of the racing guys on here have, I would not hesitate in comissioning you to paint/draw it. I recently saw your comments on the Catalonian site set up by Alan Bliven and also you were mentioned on Steven Bodio's site as well. Good on ye mate and good luck for the future. Do you live in Scotland? Cheers for now.
Glassfeather Posted December 7, 2010 Author Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hi Chaz, Thanks for your comments. I haven't put my hand to the Cats yet, I think that is an Italian owl you are looking at, I've only done the Spanish Pouters and the Figurita (see below). Steve Bodio is a friend of mine, for a lot of years now, its thanks to him that the Bodio/Lucero Cats are doing well in the USA. All of his books are well worth reading, but in particular 'Aloft' is a good read. I am originally from Scotland but I live in Cambridgeshire now, still enjoying my Moroncelos. Thanks again, take care. Graeme
Glassfeather Posted December 7, 2010 Author Report Posted December 7, 2010 Meant to say Chaz, you have some lovely Cats now, well done, I'm glad you got sorted.
