Have a look at a film called Restrepo, its about a platoon of US soldiers based in possibly the most dangerous place in Afghanistan, not fantasy or make believe but REAL LIFE!

 

Then tell me this is not a worthy cause, despite this being about US soldiers many of the british forces are subject to the same lives every day out there.
