Guest JonesyBhoy Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 was up at louella on sun when they launched the new blacks stain ,got to be honest not for me but they were going like hell \a lot of interest in them and plenty sold but what a difference from the last time i was here back in 1992 when the big breeding cenre was open ,but couldnt fault the birds on offer and added to that all pens were open and you were invited to handle any pigeon you wished to from £37 to £750 the big breeding center..?? is louella smaller than it was in the 90s..??

Resulting in the coach being pulled up by the police, and birds flying everywhere. Surely wasn't good for the sport.

Wiley Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 WTF..?? Honestly.. thats crazeeeeyea 100% true, at the time Jimmy Edridge was working for Louis, and he said no one from East London was welcome back, and infact Jimmy nearly lost his job over it! An old racing partner of mine was on the coach, when the old bill pulled them over, and he said there was birds flying round the coach, and birds being let out of the coach as the old bill pulled them over.
Craig05 Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 My friend are you forgetting that Shauns father was Peter Pollock, another south african fast bowler!! And even Peter and Grahems Father played cricket for the Orange Free State no i havent forgotten that, just an example of a sportsman nephew doing well. i must say though that Peter Pollock and his father had nothing on Graham and Shaun. different class all together.
