young hen has prob with eye outer part of eye seem darker and a bit weepy. Black part of eye seems a bit bigger than normal any ideas cheers tommyc

i don't want to hijack the topic but i have an eye question,this year we have had trouble with a few Yb's that developed a swollen eye Ceres generally on the left eye the symptoms came as quick as it went over a couple of days never in all the years of keeping pigeons have i ever seen this,the only way i can justify an explanation on how it looked is that it looked like it had been fighting with the look of one eye cold without the water swelling.

sounds what the belgiums call a 'Thick Head' basically meaning they had ornithoses
