wings Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Hi just wondering if any members know of a good place to by a new loft on a working mans budget. or which is the best web site, Thanks.
Guest Denny Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Hi Wings, When I first started looking for my loft (which eventually I bought on ebay) I did look at getting an ECCOLOFT as the loft seemed good quality for the price. I was set upon a new loft, did not want second hand one. I posted similar posts to you on the site and a number of the guys emailed me back with their thoughts (use the search engine on the site and you can refer back to them if you like). I took some of their advice and asked at the local pigeon clubs if they knew of anyone selling their loft, even some from outside the area. That is how I found my loft! Less than two years old and an absolute bargin (less than a third of the price I was going to pay) - 16 x 6, three sections, decent thickness T&G and fully lined, with coroline roofing. A touch up of cuprinol on the outside just to co-ordinate with the other fencing and shed in the garden (us women eh!) and a coat of paint on the inside and she's fit for the queen to stay in. I am very impressed with my loft as its like new and to think I was going to spend loads more on a new loft! Thanks guys for the sound advice!
OLDYELLOW Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Very nice loft Denny, like the colour have to agree
