Black Rape Seed

What are the members views on Black Rape, I was told by a very sucessful fancier to iclude 25% in the feed this time of year, the moulting mix I use does contain the rape seed however not much more than a few percent, as anyone tried feeding larger quantity's, is it as beneficial as I was told, thanks in advance for replies :-)

oil seeds are good for birds but too many have a laxative effect , linseed is more benificial in the moult but has to be this years harvest as goes off quickly
