Guest SPORTKA Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Just wanted to know if you are a member of RPRA, and fly in your own name,if at a later date you decide to give your loft a name, do you need to let RPRA or anyone else know, also once a name is in use does that loft have sole use of it. your thoughts please, thanx in advance Chris.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 you can only register as your own name or that of a partnership ( two plus names ) however you can name your loft out you want
rasbull Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 The name you fly under has to be your own name - cant be a loft name. To solve this I have added 'Rasbull Lofts' to the first line of my address so any correspondence from the RPRA or WHU has my loft name on as well!
Guest SPORTKA Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Thats a good idea , do they accept this amendment over phone or is it a letter job?I must say I am a bit suprised there seems no protection for the loft names, for example I could chose a name that already exists ie louella, Rasbull lol, not to worry I have chosen one all of my own, just hope it dont exist already.
demolition man Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 i might be wrong but thought the PLANET BROS real name was squibb,
rasbull Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 If I remember correctly think I sent an email to the RPRA requesting the amendment to my address!
Wiley Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 i might be wrong but thought the PLANET BROS real name was squibb, you are correct!
