Guest Owen Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I reckon that the best piece of information I have seen on this subject is contained within the book on widowhood obtained from Amazon. It is an old book but the information is as good today as the day it was written. It goes into many and varied methods of the subject including things like celibacy and hens. It is a good read and well worth the money.Another good source of information are the leaflets written by Mick Maitland. Until I read these I did not know how to get the cocks to trap after a race or how to get them to fly at exercise. Dave Allen's book is also worth reading. I bought mine from E-Bay.My own system is an hybrid system made up of a lot of the stuff that I have read coupled with some of my own ideas. Most of my own ideas have come from my interest in getting the loft to be suitable for the job and also from my interest in health issues of the pigeons.
