Once again the latest news on the WSEN website is blank!! Absolutely no information on there whatsoever! The updating of the "other" welsh south east national website leaves us behind and is embarressing , Tom any chance we can use you website to put our updates on mate? LOL

Hi Tenny,I was 1st club timing 1.27.,sent 15 had 10 yesterday and 3 this morning.so only 2 missing.As a plus,I had 1 back this morning from Guildford. I bet Brian is cheered up with that good performance yesterday,well done Brian a.t.b.Robert.

Hi Alun,it must be the browser thats the problem.The thing is only members with google chrome are going to have access to the early times.Not an ideal situation.

Can't be the browser I am using Firefox and its fine.

 

Nice to see that after a small kick up the *expletive removed* we are finally being updated in a timely manner.

Marilyn just told me to try internet explorer, and that is bringing up a blank page, so i guess it is only certain browsers that will bring it up.

I dont want to change my browser setting just to see early times

After reading Geoff s write up in the BHW this week about not having control of early time information and his reports having to be run through a third person(I can guess who this person might be)i have changed my mind about championing Tenny as press officer.I apologise to Geoff for thinking(not saying) he had lost intrest,as he was first class when he did Toms national.

What is clear is things are nowhere as good as other sites,in fact i have to say it must be the worst web site by a mile,they must give it to somebody who understands computers and can relay information quickly,this may well be Geoff,he has said its what he likes but it must change.

I think Geoff does a great job,I have allways found him to be very helpfull.The thing is there must be something wrong with the website,when only some members have access to it.

just out of a piont of interest the difference from when geoff was with us (and he will clarify this) was on a sat morning i would open the page up for the race on the site for him to add the early times and what ever he wanted then when he finished we would close it so all the info was as it happened ,dont want to get involed in this debate over geoff and his position but thought it only fair to clarify how we used to work it between us , so you know

thanks Tom,it worked very well for you and it broke new ground as far as the welsh fancy.

I try not to criticise anybody but the powers to be must either take on board what others have done and use this as a template If this requires more investment then the senfc must search the right people to move this forward.

For every welsh fancier on this site i bet there are a hundreds who are guests and just read the posts.

Maybe the third person Geoff refers to thinks they can manage and is reluctant to ask for help,but nobody can do the job to the standard without being able to refer to the times phoned in(we got more information when i was a lad and you asked mr radford whats the best about?,as busy as they must have been they gave it as they thought it might pan out-happy days)
