Gb10 Z 87619

I first saw this pigeon on Tuesday, I gave it some food and put some water out for it. It is quite tame and came close to me when it was eating so I could read it's ring number - GB10 z 87619.

I tried to catch it but it flew onto the roof. It seems in good health and I expected it to be gone after resting but it is still here today.

 

Is there anything else I should do?

were are you maybe someone local may be able to help, just keep doing what you are and try to catch it if possible and keep it safe, it will leave when it gets back to strength

I live between Ashbourne and Derby.

 

I will keep trying to catch it - Is there any technique for catching a pigeon?
