Guest mick bowler Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Now heres another strange thing, in the last few weeks we have had nothing but westerly winds. Most of this Islands racing goes from the west to the east side, with a few exceptions. Just lately i've had 4 or 5 Yb strays around the area. I have picked up one dead, one from off a mountain, one that a lad i know found and also one that is from the north found by a bird lover. I have also spotted other pigeons around in small batches, i know they are pigeons as sometimes they tag up with mine. What i cant make out is why these birds are in this north western corner when with the wind as it has been and their racing line they should be nowhere near. I know a couple other lads with strays too. These are from all over ireland, what is going on???
