bazzio73 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 hi there, i am curious to know what it takes to start a new flying club, or add one to an existing. and also joining a different fed. our club is in midshires s r fed and nobody is happy with the way it is run, due to the fact they use it to there advantage and constantly change lib sites.
JohnQuinn Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 First thing you need it the requisite amount of fanciers (5) to form a club, you then have so submit their names and addresses to the federation, with a letter requesting to join the Fed. This would be dealt with at the Fed AGM. If all goes well, the fed will then register you as a member club to the RPRA/SHU/WHU or whatever your governing body is. SIMPLES You will also have to resign from your present club/fed before their AGM or you will be liable for the membership fees for the forthcoming year, on top of your new fed fees, got to watch the timing of the relevant meetings.
pjc Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 If you are not happy with the fed then sugest at a meeting the club change and if the majority are in favour the sec can approach other feds to become members! But as you know you are restricted there to which fed radius's you are in having changed a few times in the past!
