just back from the lake district{bowness}and the amount of pigeons at the side of the water getting fed by the tourists with rings on and ets rings was unbelievable.these birds were mixing with the streeters.

That's an interesting one. Did you get a feel for these race birds for example: condition they were in, were they mainly youngsters, looked to have been there awhile etc.?
