Young Bird Training

Hi all. My young birds had there 5th training toss today and it was there 1st from 21 miles and they beat me home by at least 10 minutes. My 1st race is saturday. My question is how many more tosses shall i give them. Reading about a lot of people loosing there youngsters i dont want to push my luck as i have oly dropped 1 so far. On route from training to home i have witnessed a peregrine and sparrow hawks. Im thinking maybe 1 or 2 more tosses from 21 miles this week. Do you think this will be enough training for there 1st race. My first race is 69 miles.
