Hi all sorry if this may be the wrong forum if so please could you point me in the direction of another forum my fantail dove hen has dissapeared leaving the cock to rear 2 chicks they are 3 weeks old now will the cock rear them himself or will they have to be hand reared?

They will be almost ready to wean. Put a pot of food in their nest box so that they can see the cock feeding and they will soon start pecking themselves.

That's good. I'd put water in too - it will keep them up in the nest box longer - less chance of them flying down early and getting scalped.
