pigeonman007 Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 The following 6 lots are Kenyon long distance racing pigeons, bought from Alan Astin earlier this year. Based largely around the Bill Ishmael / John Crowder lines I have decided to scale back my pigeons and will not be holding any stock birds and will be reducing my numbers of pigeons. Each lot has photo and pedigree accompanying. Start price for the stock birds is £25.00 per pigeon I will also be advertising later this evening some Kenyon young birds. I will run the stock birds as an auction, ending Friday 23rd July 9pm. No 5 minute rule will apply. The highest bidder at 9pm on Friday evening will be deemed the ‘winner’ I would prefer for any bids to be placed on this post and not by PM. I am in Kent and you are welcome to collect or I am happy to send on a courier. This is to be paid for by the bidder and arranged by the bidder. I am happy to accept Cheques PayPal or Postal Orders on completion. I would ask that any pigeons are collected by 3rd August 2010 I dont seem to be able to load all 6 birds onto the same post so please bare with me while I upload the 6 lots Lot 1GB06P11194 - Black Pied Cock - Son of the 18 Cock

jimmy_bulger Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 as a close friend of Alan Astin for many years, i have spent a lot of time in his company and his lofts and i know his birds well, these are the real McCOY. to any fancier thinking about getting some i can reccomend them as good honest pigeons from a good source that are continuelly tried and tested at the highest level.
pigeonman007 Posted July 22, 2010 Author Report Posted July 22, 2010 Hi all,Not sure if it would be easier to enter individual bids against each lot.At the moment we have Lots 1 & 5 @ £120 J LITTLE Budgie, is your bid of £30 for lot 4 still to stand or was your bid based on the pair? Cheers
J LITTLE Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Hi all,Not sure if it would be easier to enter individual bids against each lot.At the moment we have Lots 1 & 5 @ £120 J LITTLE Budgie, is your bid of £30 for lot 4 still to stand or was your bid based on the pair? Cheers
cufc Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 As these are advertised as individual birds it would be easier to keep track if people only bid for a bird and not pairs. This ia also fairer for the seller.
pigeonman007 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Posted July 23, 2010 Yes, please can any bids be per pigeon as they are advertised as single lots. Not as pairs. I am now not sure with regards to lot 4 if Budgies bid still stands? Also if of interest to the winning bidders each hen has laid their 1st egg of their next round Wednesday and yesterday. I have taken the eggs away. Who ever ends up buying the hens I am happy to send the 2 eggs from the hen you buy up with the courier (well packaged) and you might be lucky enough to get a couple of latebreds out of them for nowt if you've somewhere to set the eggs. :)
