my birds have had about 12 tosses 4 at 40plus miles on the transporter with other birds however i had a bad one last week so i am down to 15 i only breed a small team lol i wont next year lol i am after stoping them because i want them for next year as i dont have a old bird team whats your views on this

bought in 21 killed one did not lose any of the loft lost one training then 2 went missing then had a bad one it toke all day to get them ended up with 15 from 17

your not doing too bad, i started with 35 last year lost 8 in a bad toss, started with 27 then, worked hard with them letting them off in twos and threes from up to 30 mile. they had 5 races up to 130 miles and was left with 22, won yb of the year in fed and won club yb averages, id give them a bit more training and maybe try get them in a race like situation with some local fliers, releasing them together

good result they have had a race like situation with local lad they have been on some 40 mile tosses on a little transporter lol i dont missing young bird racing but dont want to miss old birds lol

Your Ybs need a good education and IMO need at least one fed spin. Forget about the numbers just keep whats up for the job.

they have a bit of experience then mate, yea i stopped about 11 yearlings for next year, started with 26 but got wiped out after race 2, lib in terrible weather, immlike you, trying to build up a team of various ages, it will take a while
