Found pigeon wandering outside my loft early afternoon. Thought it was one of mine that had been lost from an earlier SNFC race (wearing a rubber and an ets ring) especially as I was able to catch him outside easily to move rubber to check ring number but he is a 'P' ring number, and not mine. Weather here gale force winds & rain at time, so fed & watered him in sheltered spot outide, he appeared to clear later when weather quietend down, but he came back after an hour or two..

The only odd thing I've noticed is he appears to have been scalped at one time, feathers down back of his neck don't lie flat, and he's recently taken a few blows on the wattle.

I've brought him inside now and he's in a spare box, if weather picks up tomorrow I'll let him go.
