The National Federation has nothing to do with the NPA. As its name sugests it is a federation of the flying breed clubs in the UK.Agree with speight that it is the best place to get in touch with breeders of the flying breeds.

As West of Englands are now primarily a show breed and you want birds for flying perhaps you would be better with performing rollers or flying tipplers (not the exhibition strains of these breeds).All the Wests shown on the National Federations web page are show birds.

                 As west of englands are not split into showing and flying strains like the rollers and tipplers I think some fanciers sell poor quality show birds for flying to unsuspecting fanciers.
