Has anyone lost 10 young birds then if so they were spotted on the wall of a narrow bridge on farm road between Blanytre and Uddingston. Info came from W Gordon and Billy Allison who were travelling home from the SNFC marking last night around 20.00, Billy told me that they looked as if they were looking for a drink and they included 1 white, 1 Red ch, 2 X Pieds with the rest being blues and it was possible that someone has had a flyaway.

Has anyone got any info of whose young birds these could be???

I had a YB flyaway on Sunday 13th June: 9 missing then with 3 working back next day, last one looked as if it had flown some distance, just a flying skeleton and took 3 days to recover. Have had nothing since, birds are not hanging about locally, that's for sure. Here's the breakdown:-

BCHQ SU10NW5901, DCHQPD SU10NW5903, CHQ SU10NW5906, BCHQPD SU10NW5917, BB SU10NW5921, BCHQ SU10NW5922. All carrying white or green telephone rings, and all wing stamped with my telephone number. The birds have all been vaccinated for PMV.
