Guest Freebird Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 nice loft fer same money could build your own and have a pocket full of change Yep, I could and others could but some can't and may be interested. Price includes delivery and erection which I thought was no bad. Depends on quality of wood I suppose. Anyway, how you doin' Yellar and how is the racing going mate?

Are you refering to the state of moult? Excuse the ignorance, but remember I'm a Cat man Good luck on the forthcoming race, hope it gets yer heart pumpin' with a good time.
OLDYELLOW Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 its the way the birds hold there wings , its a good way of noticing there fitness , if unfit they wont touch and have a gap in them if sending to a good distance if there not 100% it does them more harm than good was shown this by a good fancier many years ago also hated wings crossing on a bird as denotes one side weaker than the other and lacks good balance dropped wings means total unfitness we all have our ways this is one of mine , you have to look at selection alway through the season so only the fittest healthiest robust birds are kept and in turn less weak birds are produced through good selection and of course the biggest equaliser the race basket
Guest mick bowler Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I wouldnt have (another) one of their lofts if they were free, pile of crap.
Guest joshdonlan Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 bet there 100 times better than Blakes. Im taking all the windows out and putting mesh in as the ventilation is wonk
travis Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Im pleased to hear you say that Mick, i looked at their lofts carefully, seemed their top spec was same as Ecco mid spec. Nearly went for one though but decided on Ecco at last minute, due in 6 weeks, cant wait!
OLDYELLOW Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I wouldnt have (another) one of their lofts if they were free, pile of crap.most of manifactured lofts are crap i know i bought one , why aint there a loft building company building out of sheet marine plywood ???? anything with toungue and grove eventualy leaks especialy if knots fall out or is made with unseasoned wood , i bought mine as need it it quick buy in haste and costs you far more long term , will be building next one mesen might take a while but be 100% better than any pre bought lofts
