dav Posted November 9, 2006 Report Posted November 9, 2006 im thinking about buying a couple of pairs of jacs, can anyone tell me,do they breed well or do they need feeders to raise the young eg tumblers. also how much should i be paying for a pair, bearing in mind i dont want to show them(for my own personal pleasure. i dont want to get ripped off as i will take older stock
gangster Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 hi dav theres gonna be plenty for sale at blackpool in january, they do need to be trimmed back for breeding im told as far as i know they breed ok but there are plenty of fancy breeders on here who will be able to let u know more...mick
jacobin Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 They do need to be trimed back on the hoods to feed their young, also on the vents to get fertile eggs.I also trim about a inch off the end of the tails.Even when doing this some pairs are still poor parents.
