Guest CS Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 DAMASCENE: A very old breed from the Middle-East, rich in history, depicted on Papyri' and Tombe paintings from Pharonic Egypt, traditionaly ALWAYS 'Ice' colour with a dark charcoal under colour, Ruby-red eyes & double blue/black eye cere', beak, black, almost triangular. Barely medium size, a bird of gentle 'curves' Oval/round head, slight 'Dewlap' on mature males, well filled breast, impression of a 'squat' well boned bird. Very intelligent and tame.
