velo99 Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Hi all, I am a roller fancier from across the pond in Texas. Been a member for a while just now speaking up. I dont know some computer glitch wouldn`t log me in. Anyway, I have been in rollers for a couple of years now. I placed second in my region and am flying in the World Cup finals next Sunday morning. Like a lot of new roller flyers I fly a hodge podge of birds right now. I have some good birds in the stock loft and should be in good shape after this season.I will have two keeper kits and one holdover I will trim down to 10 next spring.

velo99 Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 Howdy Coxy. I am from Amarillo Texas. Been in rollers going on three years now.I flew in the WC this year scored 507 in the quals and a big ol fat zero in the finals. I got lucky to make it and my kit really was nt up to the task, being all 10-12 months old. I will be back next year when my guys have matured a bit more. I run three breeders pairs and five fosters. I have a widespread family right now. I am narrwoing it down pretty quickly. Breed about 50 birds or so a year. I had some loaners that were pretty much straight Pensoms.I have a pair of Navarros now on indefinite loan. They are pretty tight family wise. Blend of three good families with no new blood for the last eight years. The chicks are really intelligent and seem to be pretty stable so far. Thats my season in a nutshell so far. v99 Storm, you need some help? I can probably hook you up.
