I let my 6 logans out to fly on Tues evening they was only out for a few secs and a hawk turned up,They panicked and flew in all directions, one came back first night and one turned up yesterday and another this evening, none would trap and had to be caught. As I write this all three are going mad trying to escape from the aviary. Will these birds all disappear again next time out ? what can I do to help prevent this ?

first question is why are they panicking in the aviary ? if they've been out and come back then i would keep them in until they calm down

well sounds like they have had a big fright , spend time in loft and get them confident around you get them eating out of your hand and calm them down if home is a place of safety that element has now gone unless you get them calmed down the bond of home needs to be installed as a place of safety :) cats and dogs ectra will cause them upset at night if can see them without knowing your loft set up hard to say why as jumpy as they are :)
