i had my youngsters out lastnight, they cant fly well yet and a cat managed to get hold of one of the birds. i did get the bird back after a few seconds, but there is a bit of damage to the wing, and also a puncture wound under the left wing. the bird is unable to put is wing down.

its eating well ect, but im not sure if its fair for it to be alive if its in pain. any ideas?

if wing not broken it should be fine without seeing any damage hard to give any advice , cats claws and teeth hold alot of bacteria and any wounds should be sterilised with iodine , pigeons are as tough as old boots and bounce back rather quickly all the best :)

Most birds that have been injured by a cat will die, due to the bacteria in the cat's saliva. If you want to save your bird, you need to treat it with antibiotics.
