Can anybody in the Crosby area of Liverpool help with collecting a bird from a non fancier please?

The bird was sold to Vallance (whu08S11499) who has failed to transfer it or make arangements for the bird to be collected from the non fancier!

He has said he gifted the bird out!

If any body can help please either contact me or Gail J at the WHU as this is disgusting not to resolve the problem or even contact the non fancier!

No need to lock thread, I thank PJC for putting it up and if you want to lock this one it's up to you.

At the end of the day, any fanciers having WHU ringed pigeons or any other rings MUST transfer them asap, this proves the problem if they don't, especially when it's non fanciers find the birds, as you are all aware, members rely on the public to report these birds and I can understand why they don't when this problem arises.

Please help us unions to help you. :)

Thank you Gail, as you know the bird wasn't mine in the first place it belonged to a berieved friend.

All the birds sold were sent with transfers, just a shame some don't use them!

When a bird is found by the many kind non fanciers who just want to help our poor birds there is no excuse to not make immediate contact to at least reasure the finder something is being done and often to give them advise on short term care, water, food etc!

Unfortunatly some always have an excuse!
