DOVEScot Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Wonder if they are easy to breed out of dont seem many about I've got runts and mine are hard to breed, i think the genestation of the egg is longer, would like to know from someone that knows All mine have been building a nest for three weeks and started treading just before that This I know as fact To my surprise it takes a chicken 28 days to produce an egg, even though it lays every day!!!!! then on that basis your fresh egg is 28 days old before it is laid and chickens have 28 eggs at one stage or another in them at the same time
DOVEScot Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 I want some runts as well look great If only I could get two females to pair up with my males or would swap a male for a female
