last time i had white spots was after antibiotics supposively white cells which fight infection thats what vet said think i had baytrill not long after

white spots are possibly salivary stones,which are not deemed to cause the bird any harm..as they are used to moisten the feed.

could be any of the above, my guess a touch of thrush,, a good avian vet would be able to tell you right away,,, a half teaspoon full of aquuas iodine in their water would do no harm
